Power in the Blood
Day 12: Power in the Blood
Theme Scripture
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”
— Revelation 12:11 (NKJV)
Exposition
The blood of Jesus is the foundation of every true revival. It is the divine life-source that cleanses, redeems, restores, and empowers the believer. Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins (Hebrews 9:22), and without the blood of Jesus, there is no access to the presence of God.
When Adam sinned, humanity fell into death and separation. But when Jesus shed His blood on Calvary, He opened the door to restoration and reconciliation. His blood did not just wash away sin—it broke the power of sin. The cross was not only a place of death but the birthplace of revival.
Every outpouring of the Holy Spirit is rooted in the cross. The Spirit moves where the blood has cleansed. The blood prepares the altar; the Spirit ignites the flame. That’s why revival begins at Calvary and flows through hearts washed in the blood of the Lamb.
There is power in the blood to break every chain, to silence the accuser, and to heal the wounded soul. When you plead the blood of Jesus, you are invoking heaven’s victory over every demonic opposition. The devil cannot stand where the blood speaks.
The Church must rediscover the message of the blood. It’s not a relic of old-fashioned religion—it’s the eternal covenant seal that ensures our continual access to divine power. As we honor the blood, we experience cleansing, restoration, and revival fire that cannot be quenched.
