Finishing Well

Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day...” (NKJV) Reflection Life is often compared to a race, but it is not a sprint—it is a marathon. The Christian journey is not defined by how enthusiastically we begin but by how faithfully we finish. The Apostle Paul wrote these words near the end of his earthly life. Looking back, he did not boast about the churches he planted, the miracles he witnessed, or the letters he wrote. Instead, he reflected on three simple yet profound truths: he fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. These words remind us that faithfulness is God's measure of success. There will be seasons of joy and seasons of sorrow. There will be victories that strengthen our confidence and trials...
