Reflection Paul opens his letter with remarkable humility. Instead of emphasizing his authority as an apostle, he introduces himself and Timothy as bondservants of Jesus Christ . This reminds us that our greatest identity is not found in our achievements, titles, or possessions, but in our relationship with Christ. We belong to Him, and our lives are to be lived for His glory. Paul then addresses all the saints in Philippi. Every believer is called a saint—not because of moral perfection, but because God has set us apart through the saving work of Christ.
