They continued with religious activities, sacrifices, and gatherings, yet their hearts and lives were not truly aligned with Him. God was not merely interested in their outward worship; He desired repentance, obedience, justice, and a genuine relationship with His people. Yet, in the middle of this rebuke comes one of the most beautiful invitations in Scripture: “Come now, and let us reason together.” God does not simply expose our sins and leave us in condemnation.
