Build Relationships
Prov.27.17 - As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.
The waiting room is never really a lonely place, though it appears so most times. Your experience and human limitations might make it look like you are the only one with a problem or challenge in the whole world. This is the reason for depression and suicidal thoughts. The mind will be so clouded in distress that we couldn't see other people praying to have the little you think isn't enough for you.
Prophet Elijah after a successful demonstration of God's powers among the Israelites and before king Ahab- an extraordinary manifestation of God through him - A great challenge to prophets of every generation, still felt alone when Jezebel came threatening. He was frustrated to the extent that he ran for his life seeking to die. 1kgs. 19.
But if you look carefully, you will realise like God told Elijah, there are thousands others in your shoes. And when you do, you'll realise your case is not the worst. Yes, your experience is your strength to comfort, mentor and build others for God's purpose.
2Cor.1.4 - who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
The waiting room is a place to identify like minds, fuse together as partners. Encourage one another from being frustrated to becoming mighty men of valour like David and his heroes. Turn your challenges to championship, your misery to ministry, your pain to gain. Transform your horrible stories to glorious testimonies.
Don't let your problems ostracise you. Make friends, rejoice with those who are rejoicing, mourn with those who are mourning, fellowship with other believers, attend seminars and help others the best way you can. Thank God for your past victories rather than mourning your past failures. Stop focusing on yourself alone, think more about what you can do for God and for others' benefit. Your victory most times lies in these. Be strong!

Prayers:
Lord, help me to break out of the shell of my challenges. Help me to see solutions in helping others the little way I can. Give me grace to transform my challenges to problem solving strategies in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen
