Title: Be Still and See the Salvation of the Lord
Scripture Focus: Exodus 14:13 (NKJV)
“Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.”
Devotional Reflection
In moments of crisis and fear, God often gives a surprising instruction: “Be still.”
When the Israelites stood between Pharaoh’s advancing army and the Red Sea, they saw no human way out. Yet in that impossible place, God told them not to panic or run—but to stand still and trust Him.
Stillness in faith is not inactivity; it's surrender. It’s trusting that God is doing what we cannot see. When we let go of striving and fear, we create space to witness God's power. Salvation isn’t always visible ahead of time—but it always comes right on time.
Your “Egyptians”—the threats, the fears, the situations chasing you—are not your end. They are just the backdrop for a divine miracle. God will silence your enemies, open a way through, and bring you out in victory.
Stay Faithful—No Compromise
In the pressure to escape, don’t compromise your faith. When it seems easier to settle for less than God’s promise, choose to stand firm.
The God who called you is faithful. He will not fail.
Wait on Him. Trust His timing. Stand firm in righteousness.
He will come through for those who trust Him till the end.

Prayer
Heavenly Father,
When I am afraid or surrounded by uncertainty, help me to be still and trust You. Teach me to stand in faith, even when I can’t see the way forward.
Silence every fear. Calm every storm. Let me see Your salvation and walk in the path You make for me.
Strengthen me to remain faithful, without compromise, and to wait with confidence until You act.
I trust You to defend me and deliver me, in Jesus’ name.
Amen.
