A Testimony to the Nations
Scripture:
“Then it was said among the nations, ‘The Lord has done great things for them.’ The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” – Psalm 126:2b–3
Reflection
When God restores, it is never hidden. His goodness shines so brightly that even those outside the faith recognize it. The psalmist recalls how surrounding nations looked at Israel’s restoration and could not deny that it was the hand of God.
God’s blessings are not meant to stop with you—they are meant to be a testimony to others. When people see transformation in your life, they should be able to say, “The Lord has done this.” Your testimony brings glory to God and hope to others still waiting for their breakthrough.
The psalmist goes further: “The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” Here, gratitude flows. They didn’t just accept people’s observations; they declared it themselves. Gratitude is powerful because it seals your testimony and strengthens your faith.

- Reflect on the “great things” God has done in your life recently. Write them down.
- Share one testimony with someone this week—your story might be the encouragement someone else needs.
- Practice declaring God’s goodness out loud daily. Speak gratitude, not just think it.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for the great things You have done in my life. May my life be a visible testimony of Your goodness to those around me. Let others see Your hand upon me and be drawn to glorify You. Amen.
