🌙 Midnight Call Reflection
Theme: “When Peace Advances, So Must the Church”
Tonight the world watches as Gaza edges toward ceasefire and hostages return. Global powers scramble for diplomatic ground. In Nigeria, soldiers fall, reforms contend with inflation, and many voices cry out for justice.
But the midnight question for the Church is: Will we rise to match peace with proclamation?
When peace processes move forward, our faith must not lag behind. When governments negotiate, we must intercede. When victims are freed, we must shepherd. The Church’s mission is not static; it is dynamic — rising to meet every shift in the world with steadiness and hope.
The Apostle Paul said, “Let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.” (Romans 14:19). The tension we face is not only in the battlefield or ballot box, but in the souls of men and cities. Do we stay in our pews — or do we move with God’s winds?
Beloved, the Church must advance. Not for power, but for redemption. Not for applause, but for transformation. Tonight, may every sleeping altar wake, and may every silent voice roar again with the Gospel’s courage.
