๐ Midnight Call Reflection
Theme: “When the Night Strikes, the Church Must Shine Brighter”
Tonight the news brings sorrow: security personnel ambushed, mourners crushed in stampedes, nations shaken by coups. These are the hours when the darkness is closest, when fear weighs the heaviest, and when human strength falters. Yet, it is also the hour when the Church is called to shine brightest.
In Scripture, when Elisha’s servant saw the threat of the enemy, the prophet prayed, “LORD, open his eyes, that he may see” — and suddenly the hills were full of chariots of fire. (2 Kings 6:17). The point: in moments of danger, God’s unseen forces are more massive than the threat at hand.
The Church tonight must remember:
- We carry unseen strength — angels surround us; we are held by God.
- We are light in the shadow — when fear strikes, our faith must glow.
- We must mourn with those who mourn — our presence, prayers, and compassion matter deeply.
- We must act with courage — stand for peace, justice, care, even when it costs.
Beloved, darkness does not demand silence; it demands faith. Let the Church tonight rise in prayer, in hope, in love — so that our witness pierces the night.
As military guards fall and mourners weep, let our souls whisper: “Your kingdom come, Your will be done
