🌙 Midnight Call Reflection

Theme: “When Mammon and Power Collide”

Text: “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” — Mark 8:36

Tonight, the world trembles under the weight of shifting powers and restless nations. Nigeria replaces its top military chiefs amid whispers of rebellion; economies rise and fall with the stroke of policy; faith leaders cry out for justice as the blood of the innocent stains the land.

Yet beneath it all lies the same ancient struggle — the worship of Mammon disguised as progress, and the hunger for power disguised as patriotism. The Spirit warns that the nations are being weighed in the balance. When wealth replaces worship and control replaces compassion, the heart of man grows cold, and truth becomes a casualty.

The Lord calls His Church to watch and pray, not to be entangled in the love of money or the politics of fear. This is the hour to return to the altar — to seek not the security of governments or economies, but the unshakable Kingdom of God.

Prophetic Insight:
Before the dawn of Christ’s return, the world will witness a merging of economic and spiritual systems — a final test of allegiance. Those who serve Mammon will grow bolder; those who serve Christ must grow brighter.

Call to Action:
Guard your heart. Refuse compromise. Be among those “who have not bowed to Baal.”
For though kingdoms shake and gold loses its shine, the Word of the Lord stands forever.
