🌙 Midnight Call Reflection
Theme: When Darkness Remembers the Light
Tonight, as the world pauses to remember a day of sorrow, as nations cry for peace, and as oil and debt loom in economic calculations—the question resounds: Where is the Church when darkness deepens?
The Church is not given to the business of memory alone; it is charged with the work of remembrance with purpose. We remember to reconcile, to act, to shine again. The world’s trouble today is not simply the absence of bombs or the lack of diplomacy—but often the absence of bold, faithful witnesses.
When Israel marks tragedy, when Nigeria debates debt, when conflicts persist, the Church is called not just to grieve—but to stand in the gap. Jesus said: “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5). That light is always waiting to break through.
Beloved, tonight’s call is:
- Remember with purpose—don’t let the memory harden your heart.
- Pray with passion—for hostages, for peace, for justice, for the oppressed.
- Live with courage—be the Church that refuses to be silenced.
The night is heavy, but dawn is certain for those who remain faithful.
