Glory Restored

Day 26: Glory Restored

Scripture

“The glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former, says the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, says the Lord of hosts.”
Haggai 2:9 (KJV)

Reflection

When revival comes, it restores the glory that was lost — the glory of divine presence, power, purity, and peace. The prophet Haggai spoke to a discouraged people whose temple seemed nothing compared to Solomon’s. Yet God promised that the latter glory would surpass the former.

In every age, God’s glory departs where sin reigns and His presence is neglected. But when hearts are broken in repentance and prayer, His glory returns — not as a fading light but as a consuming fire. True revival is the restoration of God’s manifest glory among His people.

When the glory returns, worship changes, lives are transformed, and miracles become natural. The Church ceases to be a social club and becomes the dwelling place of the Most High. Revival is not about returning to “the good old days” — it’s about moving into a greater dimension of divine manifestation.

In this season, God is not just reviving; He is restoring His glory to homes, churches, and nations. Just as the cloud filled Solomon’s temple, the Spirit will once again fill our gatherings until no flesh glories in His presence.

Cry out today: Lord, restore Your glory — in me, in my church, and in my nation!
