Rivers of Living Water
Day 15: Rivers of Living Water
Theme Scripture
“He that believeth on Me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”
— John 7:38 (KJV)
Exposition
Revival is never meant to be stagnant; it is a flow — a continuous outpouring of the life of God from within believers. Jesus promised that whoever believes in Him would become a vessel through which rivers (not drops) of living water would flow. These rivers represent the presence, power, and ministry of the Holy Spirit flowing through a revived life to refresh others.
When the Holy Spirit fills a believer, He turns their inner dryness into a wellspring. The revived believer becomes a channel of life to families, churches, cities, and even nations. Wherever these rivers flow, transformation follows — dead hearts come alive, weary souls find rest, and the presence of God changes atmospheres.
But for the rivers to flow freely, the channels must remain open. Sin, unbelief, and fear can clog the flow of the Spirit. Revival requires constant surrender and spiritual sensitivity. When you yield fully to God, the Spirit’s river will not just touch you — it will flow through you to others.
You are not just called to receive revival; you are called to release it. God’s purpose for revival is to make His people living fountains in a thirsty world.
