🌙 MIDNIGHT CALL REFLECTION — 26 November 2025

“When the world shakes, the People of God must stand.”

Tonight, as we gather at the edge of this midnight hour, the news of the world weighs heavily on our hearts. A devastating fire in Hong Kong has claimed dozens of lives and left hundreds missing — families shattered, hopes buried under ashes. In Nigeria, the declaration of a nationwide security emergency reminds us how deeply our nation bleeds. Insurgent attacks, mass kidnappings, and a hunger crisis threatening millions reveal a land groaning for peace, justice, and restoration. Across the nations — from West Africa to East Asia — the earth trembles. But even in the shaking, God remains our refuge.

When we are confronted with such sorrow, we are reminded of Psalm 46:1: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Tonight we stand on that truth. We intercede for Hong Kong — for comfort to the grieving, strength for rescuers, and mercy for those still trapped. We pray for Nigeria — that the Lord will arise with power to silence the violence, restore order, protect the vulnerable, and break the grip of terror. We cry for the millions facing hunger, that supernatural provision and global compassion will intervene before famine takes root.

At this midnight hour, we also lift up nations in political turmoil — Guinea-Bissau wrestling with a coup, Belarusian families praying for imprisoned loved ones, and countries facing unrest and uncertainty. We ask God to stretch forth His hand and bring stability, righteousness, and peace where human systems have failed. We pray that leaders will be guided by wisdom, courage, and the fear of God, not by personal ambition or political gain.

Tonight, we declare that darkness will not have the final word. Not over Hong Kong. Not over Nigeria. Not over any nation trembling under the weight of crisis. The God who watches in the night, the God who hears the cry of the oppressed, the God who raises beauty from ashes — He is moving even now. As we stand in the gap, may His mercy prevail, His justice roll like waters, and His peace reign over the earth.

May this midnight open the gates to a new dawn.
Amen.
