🌙 Midnight Call Reflection – “Truth in the Midst of Turmoil”
📖 John 8:32 — “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
In a world increasingly shaped by narratives, perceptions, and power, the pursuit of truth has become both a battle and a calling. The recent disputes between nations over religious freedom remind us that truth is not always popular — it must often be defended at great cost.
As believers, we are called to be watchmen, speaking truth in love and standing firm against falsehood. The Church’s silence in moments of moral confusion becomes an endorsement of deception. When truth is buried under politics, pride, or fear, darkness multiplies.
The blood of the faithful, whether in the hills of Kaduna or the streets of Jerusalem, still cries out for justice. Yet God’s Word assures us: “The light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” (John 1:5)
Every believer must now rise as a vessel of truth — unshaken by worldly debates and uncorrupted by compromise. The Church’s revival begins not in the crowd but in the conscience of one man or woman who decides to walk uprightly before God.
Just as athletes endure pain for a fading crown, we must discipline ourselves for an eternal one. The field of faith is not for spectators but for runners who refuse to quit until the trumpet sounds.
Let us therefore hold fast to the truth, live in righteousness, and be found faithful at His appearing.
🕊️ Prayer:
Lord, open my eyes to discern truth amidst deception. Strengthen Your Church to be the voice of righteousness in a confused generation. Let Your light expose lies and guide nations back to You. Amen.
