THE COURAGE TO SPEAK FOR CHRIST

Bible Reading: Ephesians 6:19–20
Key Verse: “That therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.” — Ephesians 6:20 (KJV)

🌅 TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL

Even the Apostle Paul needed prayer. Despite his knowledge, calling, and experience, he asked believers to pray that he would proclaim the gospel boldly.

This teaches us that spiritual maturity does not eliminate our need for prayer and support. God calls us to speak His truth, but we must depend on His strength to do so faithfully.

Sometimes fear, rejection, or the desire to please people can silence our witness. Yet Christ calls us to represent Him through our words, conduct, and love.

Ask God today for courage to stand for the truth, even when it is uncomfortable.

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, remove every fear that hinders my witness. Fill me with Your Spirit and give me wisdom and boldness to proclaim Christ through my words and actions. Amen.

💡 Today’s Truth: God gives us courage to proclaim His truth faithfully.

👣 Today’s Step: Look for one opportunity to encourage someone, share your faith, or stand for what is right.

Reflection:
The early believers prayed for boldness amid opposition. They did not ask God to remove every challenge; they asked Him for courage to remain faithful. Tonight, ask for the same grace.

  1. Lord, fill me afresh with the Holy Spirit.
  2. Deliver me from the fear of rejection.
  3. Give me boldness to speak Your truth in love.
  4. Let my conduct bring honour to Your name.
  5. Strengthen every believer facing opposition.
  6. Open doors for the gospel through my life.
  7. Make me a faithful witness wherever I go.

🔥 Midnight Declaration:
I receive holy boldness to stand for Christ. Fear will not silence my testimony, and opposition will not destroy my faith. By God's grace, I will fulfil my calling!
